Newberry Group Becomes Data Privacy Day Champion

Newberry Group Data Privacy Day Champion Logo01/02/2013 — Newberry Group today announced that it has signed on to become a Data Privacy Day (DPD) Champion to promote messages about the importance of data protection and controlling ones digital footprint. Coordinated and led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), Data Privacy Day is held each year on January 28th and is an international awareness effort to empower people to better protect their privacy.

As a Data Privacy Day Champion, Newberry Group recognizes and supports the ideal that individuals, organizations, business and government all share the responsibility to be aware of privacy challenges and encourages everyone to bring information privacy into their daily thoughts, conversations and actions.

Newberry Group is joining the effort to promote privacy awareness along with a multitude of other international organizations, companies, education institutions, government entities and municipalities across the globe.
