 Newberry Group has been selected as a prime contractor to provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Technology Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) services to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) under a Blanket Purchase Agreement. The contract includes all RMF SA&A services required to ensure all security documentation is accurate and available to support the required Authority to Operate for all USDA systems through their full RMF lifecycle.
The USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cyber Policy & Oversight (CPO), estimates that the USDA has approximately 700 information systems. Under this contract, Newberry Group will provide the RMF’s critical Steps 1 – 3b and Steps 4-4b to support the USDA OCIO’s efforts to sustain the security posture of the Department’s hundreds of information systems.
