Steinbach, Chairman and CEO of The Newberry Group, said.<br /> <br /> “cmdLabs dramatically enhances the portfolio of digital forensics and cyber security capabilities we offer clients and is a perfect fit for The Newberry Group’s employee owner culture,” Steinbach said.<br /> <br /> cmdLabs, including founding partners Eoghan Casey, Christopher Daywalt, and Terrance Maguire, will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Newberry Group beginning in August 2010.<br /> <br /> "This merger expands our ability to provide government and commercial clients with an unmatched level of consistency and quality in digital forensics and incident response services,” Casey said. “In addition, it furthers our efforts to provide an employee culture of personal fulfillment and community involvement that ultimately benefits our clients and our community as a whole."<br /> <br /> cmdLabs brings its roster of government and commercial clients as well as experience and resources in the areas of incident response handling and digital forensics investigations. cmdLabs’ three founding partners are well-published in those core areas and speak and teach regularly at conferences all over the world.<br /> <br /> Casey, formerly the Information Security Officer at Yale University, has written or contributed to leading digital forensics publications including Digital Evidence and Computer Crime, Handbook of Digital Forensics and Investigation, and Malware Forensics. Daywalt has worked as a cyber investigations instructor and course developer for the Department of Defense and as an incident handler for commercial and government partners.
