DISA ESDC Award

Newberry Group has been awarded the DISA Enterprise Services Delivery Center (ESDC) contract as a member of the VETS, Inc. team. The team will provide information technology support to the DISA Computing Services DECC St. Louis under the Base Year plus 3 One Year options award. “This follow on award is a validation of the commitment of Team Vets to this critical operation and the mission it supports” said Newberry Group Sr. Vice President Steve Cadogan. DISA Computer Network Defense Award

Newberry Group Awarded USDA APHIS RMF Contract

Newberry Group has been selected as a prime contractor to provide Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization services for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) under a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA). This 5-year contract will allow Newberry to continue to provide our RMF expertise and experience to USDA and APHIS so that they may sustain the proper security posture for their information systems.

Newberry Group awarded Websense Data Protection contract

Newberry Group, Inc., an employee-owned IT firm, will be the prime contractor on an $87,500 Websense® Data Protection contract for a government agency. The contract award is valid for one year plus two option years. Newberry Group will be providing licenses for the Websense Data solution, which will allow the agency to protect confidential data on their network. The solution uses automated policy-based enforcement that blocks, quarantines, removes, encrypts and audits in real-time.

Newberry Group wins Forest Service RMF task order Step 4

Newberry Group was recently selected to perform a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Step 4 task order on three systems at the United States Forest Service. This task order, worth $60,000 with a one-year contract, falls under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) RMF SA&A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

In April 2013, Newberry Group was selected as a prime contractor for this BPA. Newberry can provide the RMF’s critical Steps 1 – 3b and Steps 4-4b to support the USDA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) efforts to sustain the security posture of the Department’s hundreds of information systems.

Newberry Group Awarded with USDA RMF Contract

Newberry Group has been selected as a prime contractor to provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Technology Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) services to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) under a Blanket Purchase Agreement. The contract includes all RMF SA&A services required to ensure all security documentation is accurate and available to support the required Authority to Operate for all USDA systems through their full RMF lifecycle.

The USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cyber Policy & Oversight (CPO), estimates that the USDA has approximately 700 information systems. Under this contract, Newberry Group will provide the RMF’s critical Steps 1 – 3b and Steps 4-4b to support the USDA OCIO’s efforts to sustain the security posture of the Department’s hundreds of information systems.

The Newberry Group part of winning team for largest FBI contract in history

The Newberry Group, Inc., a nationally-recognized IT services and security firm based in St. Charles, Mo. with offices in Columbia, Md., is on one of the vendor teams that recently won the FBI’s $30 billion Information Technology Supplies and Support Services (ITSSS) contract.

ITSSS is an eight year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a $30 billion ceiling. It is the largest contract in the FBI’s history, and can be used throughout the Department of Justice. Newberry partnered with Fusion Technology, LLC, of Clarksburg, W.Va., which the FBI named as one of 46 winning vendors who can now compete for task orders under the contract.

Newberry included in $5 billion federal contract

The Newberry Group, Inc is included in a $5 billion information technology contract with the U.S. General Services Administration.

The contract, known as the Veterans Technology Services Government-Wide Acquisition Contract, is the result of a 2004 executive order from President Bush calling for three percent of all federal contracting to be done with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.

As a subcontractor for Vienna, Va.-based Veterans Enterprise Technical Solutions, Inc., Newberry can perform Systems Operations and Maintenance services and Information Systems Engineering services for a variety of federal agencies under the contract. It is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity five-year contract with one five-year option. More than forty other contractors can provide services under the contract.

“This contract provides another vehicle that allows our customers to reach The Newberry Group” said Diego Maldonado, Senior Vice President of Newberry’s Government Technology Group.

Maldonado said the contract will give Newberry increased access to existing federal clients such as the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Air Force as well as new clients in the federal government. The amount of work, specific tasks and values of any work under this contract have not yet been determined.

The Newberry Group included in $25.8 billion Navy contract

The U.S. Navy awarded The Newberry Group, Inc., a global IT consultancy, a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract allowing the company to compete for task orders collectively worth up to $25.8 billion a year.

The contract is part of the Navy’s SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Rolling Admissions solicitation. The wide-ranging services in SeaPort-e include Information Technology-related services such as Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support; Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability Support; Quality Assurance Support; and Information System Development, Information Assurance (cyber security), and Information Technology Support.

Under the contract, Newberry can perform services for Naval Sea Systems Command; Naval Air Systems Command; Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command; Naval Supply Systems Command; Military Sealift Command; Naval Facilities Engineering Command; Strategic Systems Programs; the Office of Naval Research; the Defense Threat Reduction Agency; and the U.S. Marine Corps.

“The SeaPort-e multiple-award IDIQ contract is yet another tool that allows existing and potential new customers to reach The Newberry Group,” said Newberry Senior Vice President Diego Maldonado, head of the company’s Government Technology Group. “It is a significant contract vehicle that will allow Newberry to demonstrate our continued commitment to supporting the Department of Defense and allow us to grow our government line of business.”

The SeaPort-e contract has a five-year base period with two five-year award terms.

Newberry on winning team to provide Cyber Investigations Training for DCITA

The Newberry Group was selected as a subcontractor to CSC (NYSE: CSC) as part of a team to provide cyber training in support of the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) in Linthicum, Maryland as well as the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). Newberry will assist in the design, development, and delivery of cyber-security, law enforcement, counterintelligence, cyber forensics, and incident response courses.

CSC won this task order, which was competitively procured by GSA’s FEDSIM under the GSA’s Millennia Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), in September 2009. It has a one-year base period with four one-year options. The total estimated value is $85 million.
